New car, new joy – and right away the question: what do I really need? The BYD Seal U already comes with a lot of features. Still, a few accessories quickly pay off in everyday life.
1. TPE floor mats and trunk mat
Especially in autumn and winter, shoes bring water, mud and road salt into the car. Custom-fit 3D mats with raised edges keep all of that off the carpet. TPE can simply be rinsed with water and does not smell. Our tip: protect the footwells and the trunk at the same time.
2. Sunshades for side and rear windows
With kids or a dog in the back seat, a sunshade is worth its weight in gold. Magnetic versions hold without suction cups or glue and are attached or removed in seconds.
3. Protection for the large display
The large, rotating center display is the heart of the cabin – and attracts fingerprints and scratches. A 9H tempered glass protects it without affecting the touch.
4. More order in the front trunk (frunk)
The electric version has extra storage at the front. A custom-fit box keeps charging cables and small items from sliding around.
What to look for when buying
- Check model, drivetrain and year: EV and DM-i differ in some details.
- Left- or right-hand drive: In continental Europe you need left-hand-drive parts.
- Delivery time and returns: A shop with clear delivery times and easy returns saves you trouble.
