The new Tesla Model Y (from 2025, often called “Juniper”) comes well equipped. Still, a few parts protect the interior and make daily life easier – especially if the car is used a lot.
1. TPE floor mats and trunk mat
The factory carpet mats get dirty fast. Custom-fit 3D mats made of TPE have a raised edge, keep water, mud and road salt off the carpet and rinse clean in seconds. For the Model Y it pays to cover footwell and trunk together.
2. Screen glass for center and rear display
Almost everything in the Model Y runs through the big center display. Fingerprints and small scratches happen quickly. 9H tempered glass protects the screen without affecting touch. The new Model Y also has a rear-seat display – best to protect it at the same time.
3. Glass roof sunshade
The large glass roof looks great but lets a lot of heat in during summer. A custom-fit sunshade for front and rear keeps the cabin noticeably more comfortable and comes off quickly when you don't need it.
4. Order in the frunk
The front trunk is handy, but without dividers everything slides around. Dividers create separate compartments, for example for charging cables and groceries.
What to check before you buy
- Check the generation: The Model Y from 2025 differs inside from the 2021–2024 model. Mats and screen glass don't automatically fit both.
- Model Y Standard: The more affordable Standard version has no rear display – it needs its own parts.
- Left-hand drive: In Austria and Germany you need left-hand-drive parts.
